New Morning Drop-Off Procedures

 

GOOD NEWS! We're changing the morning drop-off procedures to make it easier on parents!

 

  • Doors open at 7:15 AM.
  • Morning Drop Off is in the front or back of the school - you may use the Laurence Drive entrance or the FM 740 back entrance (both will be two-way). 
  • In the back of the school, parents should pull up as far as possible past the cafeteria (pull up to where the portable buildings used to be).
  • Students should exit on the passenger’s side of the car in the drop-off lane. Parents can then exit the parking lot to either Laurence Drive or the FM 740 in the back.
  • Please be mindful of your speed in the APHE driveway.
  • Please do not park in City Hall’s parking lot or use it for drop-offs.
  • Reminder: The school zone is for hands-free devices only. Thank you for helping to ensure that our students and staff are safe!

 

 In order to keep things moving, parents should NOT EXIT the vehicle in the drop-off lanes.

 

 

New Afternoon Pick-Up Procedures

We've updated the Afternoon Pick-Up Procedures as well!

 

  • Kindergarten, 1st grade, and Day Care Pick up in Front of School (Buses along sidewalk near City Hall).
  • 2nd-6th grade pick-up is in the Back of School utilizing the back road (you may use the Laurence Drive entrance or the FM 740 entrance - both driveways will be two-way).
  • Older students will go to pick-up location of youngest sibling.
  • Please display your car/visor tag each day (all grades will receive at Pop Back).
  • Please be patient and kind while waiting in line. 
  • Please be mindful of your speed in the APHE driveway.
  • Please do not park in the City Hall’s parking lot or use it for pick-ups.
  • Thank you for helping to ensure that our students and staff are safe!
